Bretton AI is hiring Product Engineers to own substantial features from conception to production, collaborating directly with customers to translate needs into scalable architectures. You’ll ship code that improves compliance operations and reduces manual work across thousands of cases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years (Engineer) / 6+ years (Sr. Engineer) / 8+ years (Staff Engineer) of experience building production software.
• Strong full-stack capabilities, including backend services, APIs, databases, and (nice-to-have) frontend development.
• A track record of shipping customer-facing products where reliability is critical.
• An end-to-end ownership mindset, from requirements gathering through deployment and iteration.
• Clear communication skills—you can explain technical decisions to diverse audiences.
• Product thinking—you understand why you’re building something, not just how.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive interfaces for case management, reporting, and analytics.
• Build document analysis and verification systems.
• Build agentic workflows that coordinate AI tools and data services to perform research, enrichment, and verification, while keeping humans in the loop for review.
• Create tools that help customers configure and customize their compliance workflows.
