Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners in Boston, MA is seeking a Product Engineer to translate user and business needs into product improvements, working closely with the platform engineering team and company leadership to ship features.

You will own surfaces end to end, collaborate with clients in consulting and private equity, and help test and improve AI agents and workflows used in expert sourcing and interviews.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in product, consulting, banking, PE, VC, or high-growth startup
• Technical/quantitative background in CS/DS/engineering/math
• Experience with LLM APIs or agentic workflows
• Familiar with React, Node.js, Python, and AI tools like Cursor/Claude Code/ChatGPT
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

About the Role

Join a small, revenue-positive AI company building an expert network product. As a product engineer, you will turn user and business needs into product improvements, working closely with the platform engineering team and company leadership.

What You'll Do

• Understand user needs and product context, using data and direct feedback to identify what to build.

• Own product surfaces end to end, from requirements and specifications through implementation and release.

• Work directly with clients in consulting and private equity to uncover pain points and translate them into product improvements.

• Collaborate with platform engineers and technical leadership through design and code reviews while maintaining a fast shipping pace.

• Test, debug, and improve the AI agents and workflows used in expert sourcing and interviews.

• Use AI-assisted development tools to build and iterate quickly.

What We're Looking For

• One to four years of experience in product, consulting, banking, private equity or venture capital, or a high-growth startup.

• A technical or quantitative background, such as computer science, data science, engineering, or mathematics.

• Experience building software and using LLM APIs or agentic workflows.

• Familiarity with React, Node.js, Python, and AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and ChatGPT.

• Ability to explain the product you have worked on and the specific contributions you made.

• Experience combining software engineering with product or business understanding; end-to-end startup product delivery is valued.

• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $130,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in Boston, Massachusetts.
