Wintermeyer Ventures is building a data product for AI agents and automation. You will own product work end to end, from gathering signals to shipping improvements, linking data partnerships to a developer-facing platform.

You will prioritise initiatives, ship production features, and collaborate with leadership and engineers to enable usage metering, billing, and entitlements at scale in a fast-moving startup environment in San Francisco.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience as a product, backend, or integrations engineer with hands-on production coding.
• Experience shipping externally facing, developer-focused products for AI agents and automation.
• At least 2 years focused on usage metering, usage-based billing, or entitlements.
• Strong TypeScript experience with Next.js, Node.js, and Express.
• Experience building integrations across data providers and knowledge of data partnerships or licensing.
• Startup or small-company background with comfort talking to customers and acting on feedback.

About the Role

Join a small, fast-moving team building a data product for AI agents and automation. You will own product work end to end, connecting data partnerships to a developer-facing platform and turning customer feedback into shipped improvements.

What You'll Do

• Gather customer feedback and product signals, prioritize opportunities, and ship improvements to production.
• Build integrations that connect data providers to the platform.
• Make product strategy decisions by identifying the right solutions to customer needs.
• Own the product lifecycle with high autonomy and close collaboration with company leadership.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams as the product spans multiple platform areas.
• Build and maintain usage metering, usage-based billing, and entitlement capabilities.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience as a product, backend, or integrations engineer, with hands-on production coding.
• Experience shipping externally facing, developer-focused products, especially for AI agents and automation.
• At least 2 years focused primarily on usage metering, usage-based billing, or entitlements.
• Strong TypeScript experience, including familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, and Express.
• Experience building integrations across data providers, and familiarity with data partnerships or data licensing.
• Startup or smaller-company experience, along with comfort speaking directly with customers and acting on their feedback.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $235,000 to $260,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship and H-1B transfers are supported for candidates authorized to work in the United States or Canada.

Location

On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California.
