Job summary

Antimetal is seeking a Product Engineer to build the core AI-powered product across the stack—from agent orchestration and data pipelines to APIs and React interfaces.

You’ll collaborate with platform and research teams, turn experiments into production features, and own projects end-to-end through ambiguity, delivering customer-focused capabilities for our new New York office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack, product, or AI engineering roles.
• Production experience with LLMs or agent-based systems: orchestration, prompting, tool use, retrieval.
• Strong experience in Typescript, React, Postgres, and NestJS.
• Comfort with AI in production: evaluations, latency, error handling, streaming.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end in a startup environment.
• History of pushing product thinking: designing not just code, but features customers love.
• Experience owning ambiguous initiatives and aligning cross-functional teams (design, platform, research).
• Strong problem-solving skills with maintainable, scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows for production incidents: orchestration, prompting, tool use, and evaluation.

As a Product Engineer (Agents) at Antimetal, you’ll build the core product powered by our AI agent. From agent orchestration, data pipelines, APIs, to user interfaces, you’ll work across the entire stack to bring insights to our users.

• Prior tech-lead experience or project leadership
