Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no prior professional experience; or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively engineer innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to resolve customer issues and improve product quality
• Supports product development from prototyping to field support and product release
• Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to solve complex technical problems
• Create clear reports to present analysis and recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide product specifications and development
• Provide technical support for installation, troubleshooting, and debugging of complex product issues
• Maintain high customer engagement including travel to customer sites for near-term product releases
• Work in cleanroom lab and/or customer fab environments
