Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a Product Researcher to uncover customer jobs and product gaps, translating insights into direction for PLG and SLG software. You will partner with product management, engineering, data, and go-to-market teams.

This role reports to the Head of Design and sits within an Experience Design group of about 20 designers, with responsibilities spanning discovery, evaluation, and research operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of applied UX/product/design research.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Strong moderation skills for authentic customer insights.
• Experience with moderated and unmoderated remote studies.
• Familiarity with UserTesting, dscout, Power BI, FullStory or Pendo.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews, field visits, and surveys to identify customer jobs.
• Observe users in warehouses, mailrooms, back offices, and mobile environments, documenting workflows.
• Report findings with evidence and recommendations to partners.
• Run recruiting, scheduling, consent, incentives, and data management for studies.
