Product Director - State Public Sector Business Development - Remote

Position Overview: This role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives for Prime's product roadmap within the Commercial, Government Programs, or State Public Sector units. The Product Director will analyze market challenges faced by clients, lead cross-functional teams to develop complex products, and demonstrate their value to the market. Collaboration with other departments to establish product standards and transition from ideation to implementation is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and shape products for the state public sector and Medicaid FFS markets.
  • Coordinate with the Product Review Committee to gather feedback and refine products, including pricing adjustments for Medicaid FFS.
  • Manage product pipelines and collaborate with sales teams to drive sales and client engagement.
  • Present products and initiatives to potential clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with marketing and innovation teams to develop product collateral and launch strategies.
  • Lead multiple complex product initiatives, from conception through financial analysis and market assessment.
  • Develop pricing strategies and client value propositions.
  • Create and deliver training and presentation materials for clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant business experience, including 5+ years in product development.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional preferred qualifications include pharmacy benefit management experience and an advanced degree.

Physical Demands & Compensation: The role requires sitting, handling, speaking, and occasional physical activity, with a salary range of $108,000 to $184,000 depending on experience.
