Primary Responsibility

This position is responsible for assisting with validation testing of new products at local test facilities and remote field demonstration sites. The primary functions include fabrication and installation of prototype hardware; test scheduling and execution; data collection and documentation; preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and execute testing of new products, enhancements, and proof of concepts, including catalysts, housings, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Fabricate and install prototype products for testing in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
  • Gather test data and observations to support decisions on performance, durability, and serviceability.
  • Maintain and repair test facility equipment such as engines, generators, load banks, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
  • Keep facilities clean, organized, and well supplied to support testing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and publish reports on test schedules, progress, facility utilization, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of control cabinets, process instrumentation, valves, pumps, compressors, and emission testing equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency with AC and DC circuits and relay logic.
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in engines, controls, and emissions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Physical capability for demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and working on ladders or platforms.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain a passport; travel up to 25% overnight expected.
