By collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, and clinical partners, we’re bridging the gap in access to care, improving health equity, and providing personalized treatment plans. Backed by leading investors like Lightspeed and Lux, Frontera Health is poised for rapid growth.

Our ABA direct services are designed to meet the unique needs of children in underserved communities, providing them with the support and resources they require to reach their full potential. We are passionate about ensuring that every child, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status, has access to high-quality healthcare. By leveraging our technology platform and partnering with local providers, we are able to deliver effective ABA therapy to families who may otherwise have limited access to these essential services.

The Role

We are seeking a mission-driven Market Development Lead to build and execute our local market strategy in New Mexico. You will be responsible for driving Qualified ABA referrals through deep community engagement, partnerships, and outreach across a wide range of pediatric care stakeholders; from schools and daycares to physicians, therapists, universities, and other specialists embedded in the NM behavioral health ecosystem.

This is a relationship-first, on-the-ground role that requires strategic thinking, hustle, and a love for connecting people and solving problems. You’ll help define and grow our brand presence across the state, develop lasting relationships with key referral sources, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure our clinical offerings meet the needs of families and partners in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a local market strategy to grow qualified ABA referrals in New Mexico
  • Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to understand referral dynamics, community needs, and partnership opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pediatricians, schools, daycares, early intervention programs, universities, psychologists, and community organizations
  • Represent Frontera Health at community events, conferences, and partner meetings across the state
  • Lead and support new market launches in New Mexico by cultivating partnerships and building brand awareness in target regions
  • Organize and lead local events and community-building efforts that establish Frontera as a trusted, mission-aligned partner
  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure local market insights inform company strategy
  • Track performance against referral and engagement goals and iterate strategy based on learnings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in community development, sales, outreach, or partnerships, ideally in healthcare, medical sales, or related fields
  • Proven experience driving growth through strategic relationships and partnerships
  • Deep knowledge of the New Mexico community & local culture
  • Must actively reside in New Mexico
  • Proven ability to travel extensively (30%-50%)
  • Experience organizing events, conferences, or community-building initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; you are energized by meeting people and building authentic relationships
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-moving environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within New Mexico
  • Passion for improving access to care for families and children

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Healthcare, medical sales, or pharmaceutical sales
  • Real estate or field-based community development
  • Event planning or public engagement
  • Familiarity with ABA, early intervention, or special education programs

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
