Job summary

Jones Road Beauty is seeking a skilled Cosmetic Product Project Manager to own end-to-end New Product Development and Packaging timelines from PD brief to finished goods. You will align internal teams and vendors, manage dependencies, and flag risks to keep launches on schedule.

The role requires 3 days per week on-site in Montclair, NJ and does not offer visa sponsorship. The compensation range and a performance-based bonus of 15% annually reflect experience and impact.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Cosmetic Project Management.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start up and creative environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
• Ability to work from our Montclair, NJ office as required (3 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Own project management across New Product Development and Packaging programs, ensuring timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and next steps are clearly tracked and communicated.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and follow-through to keep launches on schedule and provide visibility into program status.
• Build and maintain end-to-end timelines for new product programs, from initial PD brief to finished goods ready for pickup, across Formula, Packaging, Artwork, Regulatory, and Testing.
• Align internal and vendor timelines, mapping dependencies and critical-path items so conflicts get caught early.
• Track milestones across active programs and proactively flag schedule, dependency, and execution risks before they affect key dates.
• Work with project owners to build recovery plans when delays come up, and elevate issues that need leadership decisions or cross-functional resolution.
• Lead PD timeline meetings and share weekly updates on priorities, upcoming deadlines, risks, and decisions needed.
• Capture action items with clear owners and due dates, and drive them to completion.
• Partners closely with program owners, who lead on decisions and program status, while this role owns timing and follow-through
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to understand what it takes to hit key dates, then turn vendor updates into revised timelines, tasks, and owners.
• Make sure timing changes, decisions, and approvals are documented and reflected consistently across trackers and timelines.
• Set up efficient communication rhythms that keep teams aligned and cut down on unnecessary meetings.
• Partner with PD and Operations on BOM creation and changes. Own internal BOM revisions and send updated BOMs directly to vendors.

The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $125,000. This role is also eligible for a performance based bonus of 15% annually. Exact compensation package will be determined based on experience level.
