Job summary

AAON is seeking a Project Manager II to lead the execution of product development projects from initiation to launch. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined objectives in an HVAC manufacturing setting.

The role requires leadership, technical and business acumen, and proficiency with project management methodologies such as stage-gate and AGILE. Experience with MS Project, SAP, and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of PM experience.
PM certification (PMP/PMI/Prince2) or equivalent.
Experience with manufacturing processes and HVAC systems.
Familiar with AGILE and stage-gate development.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient with MS Project, SAP, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Manages assigned projects or sub tasks that drive new products and solutions.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Proactively identify project risks and establish effective mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
Oversee quality assurance processes throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure deliverables meet defined standards.
Direct and coordinate activities for the project team and project specific resources through cross function project meetings.
Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and issues.
Identify opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency the product development process.
Deliver regular project progress updates to Director of Project Management.
