Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking an Associate Manager of Product Development & Production for its LOFT brand portfolio in New York. You will help drive seasonal development from design to production, ensuring alignment with the sourcing strategy and financial goals while maintaining product integrity.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with overseas teams, manage POs, calendars, and testing, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven environment in Times Square, NYC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Production.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible/adaptable in a fast-paced environment; team oriented.
• Knowledge of sweater yarns, gauges, stitches and construction preferred.
• Ability to cost engineer a sweater from yarn development through production.

Responsibilities

• Assist to achieve seasonal IMU aligned to corporate financial objectives.
• Support manager to establish target costs; work with overseas counterparts on negotiations.
• Maintain Bamboo Rose system.
• Manage deliverables to ensure POs are released on time.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep samples on schedule.
• Prepare and assist with the pre-classification process.
• Manage style time and action calendar and bulk fabric commitments.
• Request and track development testing; partner with product integrity on results.
• Create and maintain seasonal recap charts.
• Maintain departmental files within sourcing systems.
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teammates.
• Attend weekly fit and cross-functional meetings; daily overseas communications.
• Manage a Sourcing Coordinator; handle other duties as assigned.
