Job summary

Data Based Development Systems, Inc. in Florence, SC seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams from concept through production and field deployment.

The PM will manage cost, schedule, quality, and requirements across sales, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and field operations. The PM will support stakeholders, communicate complexities of development activities, manage risks, and escalate when needed within an agile, stage-gate framework.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BS in engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of project management experience required.
• Hands-on project leadership from concept through deployment with multi-functional, global teams.
• Experience managing competing priorities, distributed teams, and cross-organizational stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Project, Word, Excel) required.
• Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering sub-systems owners to ensure prototype and production drawings readiness.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to share drawings and engage suppliers for technical discussion.
• Ensure prototype parts delivery according to plan with suppliers and factory.
• Coordinate prototype installation and handle turnbacks from installation and tests.
• Ensure production drawings are on schedule and updated for changes.
• Manage stakeholders, schedule, scope, cost, risk, and resources with PM/Director.
• Support project reviews, gate reviews, and executive communications.
• Plan and track project goals, trades, schedule, costs, and milestones.
• Facilitate team meetings with leadership focus on deliverables and timelines.
• Support PM team initiatives to improve processes and tools.
