Job summary

Adecco Creative & Marketing is partnering with a national gifting brand to hire a Product Development Manager. This hands-on role blends creative product concepts with development execution, guiding projects from concept to retail shelf in a hybrid Brooklyn setting.

You will lead retailer collections, collaborate with Sales and design teams, and drive costed sourcing with factories while staying ahead of market trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development projects and retailer collections within assigned categories.
• Partner closely with the Sales team to prepare for retailer meetings and manage post-meeting action items.
• Create product assortments and compelling sales presentations for retail partners.
• Collaborate daily with the Product Development Coordinator to prioritize emails, follow-ups, and time-sensitive requests.
• Source new products and concepts with factories and manufacturing partners.
• Prepare and submit sourcing selection documents for costing with the Jr. Product Development Manager.
• Brainstorm new product formats, concepts, and design ideas based on market and consumer trends.
• Provide direction to designers on CADs, renderings, and design concepts needed for product development.
• Researching and forecasting product and design trends.
• Reviewing and managing daily product sample comments and revisions.
• Maintaining project status lists and tracking timelines, deliverables, and task ownership.
• Contributing original trend and product ideas to internal trend meetings.

Adecco Creative & Marketing is teaming up with a national gifting brand known for its creative, design-driven products to hire a Product Development Manager! This is a hands-on opportunity for a creative, organized product development professional to help bring innovative products from initial concept through development and ultimately to the retail shelf.

Location: Kensington / Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
