Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Product Development Manager to oversee the development of our custom made photobooths. This role will drive the innovation, engineering, and refinement of our custom photo booth products. This individual will lead a team of technical specialists to design, improve, and scale our interactive booths. They will be responsible for end-to-end development, from concept through deployment, with a strong focus on R&D, efficiency, problem-solving, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Custom Solutions & Product Innovation
• Oversee the research, design, and prototyping of new photo booth technologies, combining mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Manage the full lifecycle of custom photo booth projects, translating unique client needs into tailored technical solution.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of our core product line, driving innovation, scalability, and long-term product growth.
• Maintain and understand brand aesthetics in the development of an innovative product line and brand standard guidelines.
• Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of specialists in hardware, software, and fabrication. Foster collaboration and accountability.
• Hardware/Software Integration:Ensure seamless coordination between physical components (lighting, cameras, enclosures, sensors) and digital systems (user interface, backend processing, media capture, etc.).
• Process Optimization:Develop and implement scalable processes and workflows to improve build efficiency, product quality, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Issue Resolution:Identify and resolve product issues quickly and systematically. Build feedback loops between field teams and engineering.
• Project Scaling:Lead efforts to upgrade and expand our photo booth fleet with improved functionality, design, and performance.
• Collaboration:Work closely with other departments (Operations, Creative, Sales) to ensure technical feasibility aligns with business goals.
• Documentation & Testing:Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and testing protocols to support quality assurance and future development.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-faceted projects in creative or fabrication industries.
• CNC experience is a plus
