Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Development Manager to oversee the product development process. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between various departments and managing key relationships that drive product innovation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships between Housing Finance Agency (HFA) and Down Payment Assistance (DPA) providers to ensure alignment and collaboration on product offerings.

• Product Prioritization: Collaborate with the sales team and executive leaders to assess and prioritize new product requests, ensuring alignment with market demands and company strategy.

• Guideline Documentation: Accurately document and communicate any changes to product guidelines, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and up to date.

• Cross-Department Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator for activities related to product development and deployment, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure timely and successful product launches.

• Product Setup: Configure and set up mortgage products in the Loan Origination System (LOS) and pricing engine, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.

• Loan Placement Guidance: Provide guidance to the sales team on the appropriate placement of loans into specific products, leveraging a deep understanding of mortgage products, guidelines, and rate sheets.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, product guidelines, rates and product development processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in LOS and pricing engines. Encompass and Optimal Blue experience a plus.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
