Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a PD/Prod Associate in New York to support the development and production of the seasonal line from conception to delivery. You will collaborate with Designers, Merchants, Technical Designers, and the Regional Office to achieve the global vision and margin goals.

You will help ensure that designs meet cost targets, manage BOMs and calendars, and track fabric selections and proto/yards with regional partners to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of Flex PLM system.
• Technical understanding of fabrics and garment manufacturing process.
• Education: Minimum Associates Degree
• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in product development or production

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with Designers, Merchants, Technical Designers, and Regional Office to develop product.
• Ensure milestone dates in development calendar are met.
• Manage data on PLM line sheets and reporting tools for data integrity.
