Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Product Development Intern for the Adhesive Technologies unit. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies and raw materials to develop adhesives and sealants, support formulation and lab prep, and learn standardized testing methods.

You will analyze results, discuss findings with senior technologists, and contribute to innovative product development through hands-on experimentation.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and graduating 2027/2028.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work with state-of-the-art technologies in adhesives and sealants development.
  • Support formulation and preparation of product batches in a lab.
  • Learn and apply standardized testing methodologies.
  • Analyze test results and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with senior technologists on findings and product innovation.
  • Participate in development of new products through hands-on experimentation.

What you’ll do
  • As a Product Development Intern, you will:
  • Work with state-of-the-art technologies and raw materials in the development of adhesives and sealants.
  • Support the formulation and preparation of product batches in a lab environment.
  • Learn and apply standardized methodologies for testing product performance and quality.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, identifying trends and potential improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior technologists to discuss findings and contribute to product innovation.
  • Participate in the development of innovative new products through hands‑on experimentation and research.

  • This internship is eligible fora housingstipend or relocation support.
  • This internship has a duration of May 24th – August 13th
  • Recruitment for our 2027 internships starts in September 2026 and runs through early March 2027 or until all our positions are filled

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
