Job summary

Henkel in Minnesota is seeking an Application Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in the adhesive development process for Loctite. You will work on real-world technical challenges, perform lab work, and report results to internal teams.

You should be a rising junior or senior (graduating 2027/2028) in Mechanical, Chemical, Chemistry or Materials Science, with Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to manage datasets.
• Ability to gather, manage, and analyze large datasets.
• Basic lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience in the adhesive development process for Loctite.

• Work on and help solve real-world technical challenges.
• Conduct lab work to support new product introductions and customer sample testing.

• Gather and analyze data to validate materials and formulations.
• Assist in investigating and resolving technical issues with customers.

• This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
• This internship has a duration of May 24th – August 13th

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
