Agropur is seeking a Product Development Intern in Minnesota to assist the Product Development Manager and cross-functional teams on research projects in a world-class dairy environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in benchtop testing, plant trials, and product development processes, with mentorship, a final project report, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful dairy innovations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Interest in research and development, product innovation, and food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support product development projects from benchtop testing through plant trials.
• Assist in planning, executing, and analyzing experiments to support innovation and product improvements.
• Develop, test, and evaluate dairy products to meet project objectives and performance requirements.
• Document research findings and communicate results with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Plant Leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Development professionals to understand processes, challenges, and best practices.
• Gain exposure to dairy industry trends, regulations, and product innovation initiatives.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.

Intern (Durée déterminée) (Stagiaire)The Product Development Intern works closely with the Product Development Manager and other members of technical services and operations team to research and manage specifically assigned projects. The Product Development Intern is assigned a few projects and is responsible for executing on the assigned projects. The Product Development Intern is assigned a mentor to provide guidance and support. The Product Development Intern is responsible for reporting to the mentor on the progress of work completed throughout the term of the internship with a final report to be presented to the entire Product Development team at the end of the internship. The responsibilities of the Product Development Intern vary based on assignments and department needs.
