Job summary

Agropur, inc. is seeking an Operations Intern to assist with cheese and whey manufacturing processes, support performance improvements, and gain hands-on experience in a leading dairy environment.

You will collaborate with Plant Leadership and Operations teams, learn roles across the plant, and contribute to data-driven project outcomes. This internship emphasizes collaboration, quality, and leadership development in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to multiple areas of plant operations, including milk receiving, cheese production, drying, packaging, and shipping.
• Support projects focused on improving processes, productivity, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Partner with Operations employees and leaders to learn various roles and responsibilities throughout the plant.
• Present project outcomes, recommendations, and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
