Job summary

The Role:

Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Product Development Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role you'll support the product development engineering designing and optimizing new products and processes for the manufacturing of Chemical Mechanical Planarization pads.

What You’ll Do:

Work to support the process development and commercialization of new products. Lead continuous improvement project to drive process efficiency and reduce product variation. Work closely with various business functions to support the manufacturing processes and resolve customer product quality inquiries.

What We Seek:

• Experience working in a lab (employment or school) and knowledge of safe lab practices is preferred
• Ability to write technical reports and present data in a clear and concise manner
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

Rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelor of Science in a STEM field

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
• Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

Physical Requirements:

• This position will require the ability to work on a factory floor up to 8hrs per day operating machinery and testing equipment.
