Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. seeks a Product Development Engineer (Recent College graduates) for an onsite 12-month contract in Mannford, OK. The 40-hour work week is First Shift (8 am–5 pm). This contract-based role focuses on supporting design and development of new products with hands-on prototype work.

The candidate should have technical education, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and have experience with product inspection or testing, preferably in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Education or training in a technical discipline at secondary school with some work experience in a technical discipline.
• Ability to work with basic computer programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience performing product inspection and/or testing, preferably in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Assists in concept generation, design, development and evaluation of new products, materials, and technologies.
• Develops prototype products, processes, and test setups.
• Sets up and operates manufacturing and/or test equipment; records data with limited supervision.
• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
• Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as lab or material test results and engineering design changes; produces reports and drawings.
• Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
• Scopes equipment for use and completes qualifications.
• Notifies manager upon recognition of factors that may affect project.
• Executes designed test protocols and communicates results clearly.

Requirements

• A combination of education (education or training must include a secondary school and must have been in a technical discipline) and 2 or more years relevant work experience (4 or more preferred).
• Or minimum of an Associate Degree with less than 2 years relevant work experience.

• Experience in prototype building and testing.
• Ability to work with basic computer programs

• Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures
