Job summary

You will help translate design concepts into manufacturable toy solutions, mentor with senior engineers, and ensure safety and quality targets are met. Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years in toys or consumer goods preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to design & PMs during concept stages.
• Develop mechanisms to achieve toy functionality goals.
• Create engineering BOMs for production.
• Translate design vision into technical specs for development houses and tooling.
• Define product function via Functional Spec.
• Perform standardized engineering tasks per guidelines.
• Learn and apply Mattel processes and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners.
