Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with solid modeling/CAE/CAD tools.
• Understanding of GD&T and FEA tools.
• Willingness to travel ~10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Understand evolving industry needs and product requirements.
• Work with Signal Integrity (EE) team to align mechanical design with electrical performance.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Integrity to ensure high reliability and conformance to specs.
• Coordinate with NPI and Machine Design teams for high‑volume, high‑quality production.
• Conduct tolerance loop analyses.
• Support material selection (metal, plastic, coatings).
• Help develop initial product specifications and technical documentation.
• Interface with customers during project phases and assist sales.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers for DFM and tooling; travel to sites.
• Provide technical assistance to marketing and sales teams.
• Participate in quality investigations and improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to fixture/tooling design and test plans.
• Engage in cost reduction projects and manufacturing improvements.
