Job summary

Gradian, headquartered in Maple Grove, MN, seeks a product development engineer to transform concepts into prototypes for HVAC systems. You will design, test, and iterate components, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to move from idea to fabrication.

You will create manufacturing packs, write assembly instructions, and explore energy-efficient improvements while working hands-on in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (BSME or equivalent) required.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• 2D CAD experience required.
• 3+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build prototypes.
• Conduct tests, identify defects, refine designs.
• Lead projects from concept to completion.
• Procure components and materials for existing applications.
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain needed materials/equipment.
• Create manufacturing packages with shop drawings.
