Job summary

Gradian, an engineering-led provider of thermal solutions, seeks a qualified production engineer to join our Maple Grove, MN team. You will support new work in Operations, creating manufacturing packages for high-quality HVAC products, including heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, and coils.

You will manage projects from job release to completion, coordinate with vendors, prepare shop drawings and assembly instructions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• SolidWorks experience.
• 2D CAD experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project management and project ownership from job release to job completion.
• Purchasing components and vendor management.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed.
• Creating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Providing shop/manufacturing support.
• Create engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimization.
• Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Support sales team with design review to ensure successful installation.

In this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality products.
