Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a qualified Production Engineer to support new work in Operations, creating manufacturing packages for high-quality HVAC products. You will work with enthalpy & sensible heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, heaters, coils, and related components.

The role emphasizes project ownership, vendor management, and collaboration with sales to ensure successful installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• SolidWorks experience.
• 2D CAD experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Project management and ownership from job release to completion.
• Purchasing components and vendor management.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and equipment.
• Creating manufacturing packages including shop drawings and assembly instructions.
• Providing shop/manufacturing support.
• Create engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimization.
• Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Support sales team with design review to ensure successful installation.

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified, innovative production engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality products. The candidate will be working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Project management and project ownership from job release to job completion
• Purchasing components and vendor management
• Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed
• Creating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions
• Providing shop/Manufacturing support
• Create engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimization
• Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement efforts
• Support sales team with design review to ensure successful installation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Solid works experience
• 2D CAD experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

• Experience in the commercial HVAC industry
• Lean Six Sigma certification
