• Set up item cards with complete, clearly formatted information.
• Work with buyers and factories to gather required content.
• Ensure product information is consistent across internal systems.
• Communicate product updates to buyers, sales, and internal teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for project status and product questions.
• Relay feedback between studio, buyers, and the Specialist.
• Attend meetings when the Specialist is unavailable and take notes.
• Assist showroom setup and ongoing organization.
• Support trade show prep including logistics and sample coordination.
• Ship samples to clients ahead of presentations.
• Help ensure displayed products are presentation-ready.

Role Overview

The Product Development Coordinator supports the Product Development Specialist by keeping projects on track, information organized, and communication flowing between internal teams, buyers, and factories. This is a project management role within a product development environment. You won't be designing products, but you'll be the reason they launch on time and with the right information in the right hands.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career (0–3 years of experience) who thrives on organization, clear communication, and managing moving pieces across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Tracking

• Track multiple product ranges simultaneously, keeping timelines, milestones, and deliverables on schedule.
• Capture action items and next steps from meetings and ensure follow-through happens.
• Proactively flag risks, delays, or gaps and escalat[e?] to the Product Development Specialist.
• Maintain organized files, assets, and documentation for all active programs.

Product Information & Content Management

• Collect, organize, and maintain accurate product details including features, specs, pricing and timelines.
• Set up and maintain item cards with complete, clearly formatted product information.
• Work with buyers and factories to gather required product content.
• Ensure product information is consistent and up to date across all internal systems.

Cross-Team Communication

• Communicate product updates and details clearly to buyers, sales, and internal teams.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for project status and product information questions.
• Relay feedback between the studio, buyers, and the Product Development Specialist.
• Sit in on meetings when the Specialist is unavailable, take notes, and communicate outcomes.

Showroom & Trade Show Support

• Assist with showroom setup and ongoing organization.
• Support trade show preparation including product selection logistics and sample coordination.
• Ship samples to clients ahead of presentations as needed.
• Help ensure displayed products and materials are presentation-ready.

Skills & Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, retail operations, product management support, or a similar role.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Clear, confident communicator comfortable working with external partners.
• Able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities without dropping balls.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented; you don't wait to be told what's next.
• Familiarity with item cards, product specs, or retail processes is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
