Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Product Development Chemist in Massachusetts to drive optimization across the APC HM product portfolio with a focus on cost savings, supply security, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires collaboration with PLM, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Manufacturing teams to identify and implement formulation and process improvements that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• The Product Development Chemist is responsible for driving optimization initiatives across the APC HM product portfolio, with a focus on cost savings, supply security, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
• This role serves as a key technical resource, collaborating closely with Product Line Management (PLM), Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Manufacturing teams to identify and implement formulation, raw material, and process improvements that support business objectives.
• The successful candidate will lead qualification efforts for cost-saving opportunities, ensure continuity of supply through alternative raw material and supplier evaluations, and provide technical support to manufacturing facilities to improve operational performance and product quality.
