Job summary

Alice and Olivia in New York is seeking a Product Development Associate to support the ready-to-wear line and collaborate with Design, Production, Technical Design, and Merchandising to ensure the design vision is met.

You will manage product from prototype to production, handle tech packs, fittings, and constant updates with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality. This role is based in NYC and requires strong vendor communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product development experience.
• Understanding of the production cycle from concept through completion.
• Experience with PLM systems is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to cross functional teams.
• Strong communication skills with overseas vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively with design team to ensure creative vision of product is obtained.
• Ability to manage workload independently while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Apparel construction knowledge.
• Familiarity with contemporary fashion aesthetics.
• Solution oriented

Responsibilities

• Management of product from prototype to production stage.
• Tech pack management.
• Product fittings and communication of style updates to cross functioning teams.
• Showroom sample & PR sample management.
• Daily vendor correspondence in regards development and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, Fabric/Trim and Production to ensure product accuracy.
