Job summary

ALICE + OLIVIA is seeking a Product Development Associate in NYC to support the ready-to-wear assortment. You will collaborate with Design, Production, Technical Design and Merchandising to ensure the design vision is met while developing products from prototype to production.

The role requires 2+ years in product development, strong communication with overseas vendors, and the ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product development experience.
• Experience across production cycle from concept to completion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product development experience.
• Working knowledge of the production cycle from concept through completion.
• Experience with PLM systems is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to cross functional teams such as Design, Production, Tech, and Fabric.
• Strong communication skills with overseas vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively with design team to ensure creative vision of product is obtained.
• Ability to manage workload independently while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Apparel construction knowledge.
• Familiarity with contemporary fashion aesthetics.
• Solution oriented

$70,000 - $80,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC-based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
