Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Product Development Assistant to support the Product Development Team in executing TM products across apparel and accessories. You will learn the life-cycle from proto to production, working with domestic and overseas suppliers and assisting with PLM updates.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and collaboration, with exposure to PLM systems and Adobe Illustrator as part of the daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Some college preferred.
• Familiarity with product development processes in apparel.

Responsibilities

• Update development tracking reports in the PLM system.
• Track receipts.
• Receive and process packages.
• Communicate shipment/receipts status to team.
• Spec and evaluate samples as they are received for product development.
• Daily communications with vendors and suppliers domestically and overseas.
• Support development from proto stage to final production approval.
• Assist with input/updates to PLM/Centric system.

We invite you to join team TravisMathew. The Product Development Assistant supports the Product Development Team to ensure the successful execution of TravisMathew product. This position will give the opportunity to learn more about the life-cycle of TM products in various categories such as apparel and accessories.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure development tracking reports are updated in PLM system.
• Track receipts.
• Receive and process packages.
• Communicate to team the status of shipments and receipts.
• Spec and evaluate samples as they are received in support of the Product Development team.
• Perform daily communications with vendors and suppliers both overseas and domestically.
• Support product development team from proto stage to final production approval.
• Support the development process per established company calendar.
• Assist with input and updates to the PLM / Centric system.
