Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Product Development Assistant to support the Product Development Team in bringing TM products from concept to production. This role provides exposure to the life-cycle of TM apparel and accessories across categories.

Responsibilities include updating PLM tracking, processing shipments, evaluating samples, and coordinating with overseas and domestic suppliers to keep development on schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of product development lifecycles and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with PLM/Centric systems and sample evaluation.
• Comfort communicating with overseas and domestic suppliers.

• Spec and evaluate samples as they arrive for the Development team.
• Daily communications with vendors and suppliers both overseas and domestically.

The Product Development Assistant supports the Product Development Team to ensure the successful execution of TravisMathew product. This position will give the opportunity to learn more about the life-cycle of TM products in various categories such as apparel and accessories.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure development tracking reports are updated in PLM system. Track receipts.
• Receive and process packages. Communicate to team the status of shipments and receipts.
• Spec and evaluate samples as they are received in support of the Product Development team.
• Perform daily communications with vendors and suppliers both overseas and domestically.
• Support product development team from proto stage to final production approval.
• Support the development process per established company calendar.
• Assist with input and updates to the PLM / Centric system.
