Job summary

TravisMathew is seeking a Product Development Assistant to support the Product Development Team in bringing TM products from concept to production. You will work across apparel and accessories, learning the lifecycle of TM garments in a fast-paced environment based in Southern California.

The role emphasizes tracking, packaging intake, and collaboration with vendors domestically and overseas to ensure timely development and approvals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and PLM tooling.
• Ability to track development status and communicate updates.
• Familiarity with garment measurements and spec processes.
• Experience supporting product development from proto to production.

Responsibilities

• Update development tracking reports in the PLM system and track receipts.
• Receive and process packages; communicate shipment/receipt status to the team.
• Spec and evaluate samples for the Product Development team.
• Coordinate daily communications with vendors both overseas and domestically.
• Support the development process from proto stage to final production approval.
• Assist with input and updates to PLM / Centric system.
• Support the development calendar and milestones.

The Product Development Assistant supports the Product Development Team to ensure the successful execution of TravisMathew product. This position will give the opportunity to learn more about the life-cycle of TM products in various categories such as apparel and accessories.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure development tracking reports are updated in PLM system. Track receipts.
• Receive and process packages. Communicate to team the status of shipments and receipts.
• Spec and evaluate samples as they are received in support of the Product Development team.
• Perform daily communications with vendors and suppliers both overseas and domestically.
• Support product development team from proto stage to final production approval.
• Support the development process per established company calendar.
• Assist with input and updates to the PLM / Centric system.
