Job summary

ICO Companies, Inc. is seeking a Product Developer & Merchandiser to join our Miami office. The role focuses on product development, technical design, and merchandising for apparel, collaborating with senior leaders to drive collections from concept to production.

You will work closely with Design, Sales, and Production teams, overseeing fittings, sourcing, costing, and development tracking to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• College degree in Apparel/Textile Design/Development or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in product development, technical design, and/or apparel sourcing.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of costing, fitting, grading, construction, and technologies for apparel.
• Understanding of design, development, and merchandising from concept to production.
• Ability to build collaborative cross-functional relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM systems, and Adobe Suite.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure samples to ensure specifications are met and suggest adjustments.
• Grade specifications across a size range.
• Lead or participate in fit sessions with Design, Merchandising, and Product development teams.
• Manage fabric color approval process.
• Support fabric sourcing and vet materials.
