Job summary

Viabill is hiring a Product Designer (UI/UX) for a fully remote role with work location in Europe. You will own design for multiple product areas, including the merchant-facing platform and consumer experiences, from problem framing to final UI implementation.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of shipped product design experience, a strong portfolio with case studies, and proficiency in Figma within an existing design system. Fluent English and EU-based working hours are required.

Responsibilities

• Own design for defined product areas, including merchant-facing platform and consumer flows.
• Take design needs from across the business, including web pages and visual assets, and apply the same craft.
• Explore several design directions, present to stakeholders, and drive decisions to closure.
• Design within our design system and contribute to it, aligning with component standards.
• Run lightweight usability testing and use data to improve live flows.
• Design compliant flows in regulated contexts (disclosures, consent, applications).
• Deliver clean handoff and stay involved with developers through implementation and QA.

Viabill is hiring a remote candidate for Product Designer (UI/UX). This is a full time position. Work location: Europe.

Our products include a consumer app, the ViaBill card, and a merchant‑facing platform used by thousands of webshops and stores.

What you’ll do

• Own design for defined product areas, including our merchant‑facing platform and parts of the consumer experience, from problem framing and user flows to final UI and implementation.
• Pick up design needs from across the business when they come up, from web and campaign pages to visual assets for internal and external use, and bring the same craft to them as to product work.
• Explore several design directions before converging, present them clearly to non‑design stakeholders, and drive decisions to closure.
• Design within our design system and contribute to it, working with our Lead Product Designer on component standards and consistency.
• Run lightweight usability testing and use product and funnel data to improve live flows.
• Design flows that are clear and compliant at the same time. In consumer credit, disclosures, consent and application steps have to work for both the customer and the regulator.
• Deliver clean, well‑structured handoff and stay involved with developers through implementation and QA.

What we’re looking for

• 2-4 years designing shipped web and mobile products; fintech, e‑commerce or B2B SaaS a plus.
• Portfolio with 2-3 case studies showing problem, alternatives explored, decision, and outcome.
• Strong Figma skills, including components, variants and auto‑layout, and experience working inside an existing design system.
• Clear, confident written and spoken English; comfortable presenting and defending design choices.
• Based in the EU with CET working‑hours overlap.
• Nice to have: Experience designing regulated or multi‑step flows, such as onboarding, applications, payments or identity verification.
• Experience designing for both consumers and business users.
• Basic prototyping in code or motion design.
