Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced product designer to shape how users interact with cutting-edge AI systems. You'll work across product, engineering, and research to design end-to-end experiences that feel native to AI while shipping quickly.

You’ll prototype with front-end code and tooling, contribute to architecture decisions, and craft interfaces that build trust in our technology. The role emphasizes collaboration and practical craftsmanship in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping complex workflows, enterprise/B2B SaaS, developer tools, or API products end-to-end.
• Proven track record of executing end-to-end on large and complex products in ambiguous environments.
• A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code as a creative partner in your own design practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and other stakeholders to define product vision, strategy and roadmaps, and ship features.
• Understand the technical architecture of our products and define primitives for new capabilities.
• Define feature areas with attention to detail and polish to improve quality and consistency of workflows.
• Craft beautiful, polished user interfaces that build trust and showcase AI technology.
• Work across code, design, prototypes and new communication methods to convey ideas.
• Ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
