Job summary

NimbleFig is a data company building APIs, dashboards, and docs. As an early designer you will own real problems end to end, from first sketch to shipped screen, with trust and minimal process.

Design flows for APIs, dashboards, and docs; prototype with real users; iterate quickly; and ship with engineers. Portfolio, Figma skills, and clear writing are essential. Remote across the US or in SF, with compensation ~$140k–$170k in California.

Qualifications

• Portfolio that shows clear thinking, not just polish.
• Comfortable in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Able to reason about real product problems, not only visuals.
• A link to your work beats a resume.
• Some front-end sense (HTML and CSS) so you can prototype closer to real.
• Writing chops; clear copy is part of good design.

Responsibilities

• Design flows and interfaces for our APIs, dashboards, and documentation.
• Turn complex data problems into simple, usable screens.
• Prototype, test with real users, and iterate quickly on what you learn.
• Own the craft: type, spacing, and interaction that make a product feel right.
• Work directly with engineers to ship, not just hand off mockups.
