Job summary

NimbleFig is a data company building APIs, dashboards, and docs. As an early designer you will own real problems end to end, from first sketch to shipped screen, with trust and minimal process.

Design flows for APIs, dashboards, and docs; prototype with real users; iterate quickly; and ship with engineers. Portfolio, Figma skills, and clear writing are essential. Remote across the US or in SF, with compensation ~$140k–$170k in California.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Able to reason about real product problems, not only visuals.
• A link to your work beats a resume.
• Some front-end sense (HTML and CSS) so you can prototype closer to real.

We turn messy public information into products people query every day: APIs, dashboards, and docs. Your job is to make those surfaces clear, fast, and honest. As an early designer, you will own real problems end to end, from first sketch to shipped screen, with a lot of trust and little process.

We acquire and operate data platforms that turn the world's public information into clean, structured, real-time data for people and machines, across news, places, government, and markets. Most of it is written for human eyes, scattered across millions of sources, and out of date the moment it ships. Our job is to make each part of that record complete, current, and ready to query. We are a small, senior team, and the work is measured by one thing: whether the data is right, current, and easy to use.

Compensation

Depending on experience, the expected pay range in California is $140K–$170K.
