Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Illinois) is seeking an experienced Product Designer to co-create innovative solutions. You will leverage product design and prototyping skills across interaction, visual, and service design, while championing the customer through the design process.

The role requires extensive collaboration with product, tech and business partners, and experience with established design systems in regulated, data-heavy contexts. Figma proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a Product Design role.
• At least 3 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in a Product Design role.
• At least 4 years of experience with design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
• At least 4 years of experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners.
• At least 4 years of experience working with an established design system.
• Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in Product Design, utilizing design and prototyping tools like Figma, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions.

• Combine craft expertise with an understanding of customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems
• Leverage deep expertise in product design and skills across interaction, visual and service design
• Champion the customer through the design process, leveraging critical-thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, tech constraints and feedback
• Understand and apply business and customer strategy
• Actively build an understanding of tech and data capabilities and emerging technologies
• Foster relationships with partners and continuously expand your network
