Job summary

Jobtailor in San Francisco is seeking an experienced product designer to own end-to-end design for complex operational software. You will shape dashboards, workflows, and AI-native surfaces, from discovery to shipped interfaces, collaborating with engineers and the founding team.

You will engage directly with customers to gather insights, define the design system, and push for thoughtful interaction and visual design across the product.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of professional product design experience.
• Strong across interaction, visual, and systems design.
• Lean toward the complex end: dashboards, ops tooling, dev tools, fintech, logistics.
• Fluency in Figma and prototype well enough to communicate motion and interaction.
• Can own design end to end as the first designer, with no team to lean on.
• Excited about being in the office (4 days a week).
