Job summary

Usul in San Francisco seeks a Product Designer to shape our commercial platform for defense industry clients and allied startups. You’ll partner with Head of Product Design to take features from discovery to delivery across the Usul platform.

You’ll work autonomously across domains from research to high-fidelity delivery, balancing speed with user empathy. The role requires US citizenship and in-office presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of full-time experience in Product/UX Design.
• Experience translating raw user feedback into product experiences.
• Ability to translate across multiple domains from research to high-fidelity delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design with guidance on complex problems, ensuring long-term impact within a Usul product area.
• Develop understanding of users and inform design solutions throughout the process.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and leadership to deliver cohesive experiences.
• Maintain high quality craft and design-system consistency.
• Translate the Usul brand across product experiences.
• Create design materials as needed.
