Job summary
TypeSafe in San Francisco is seeking its second product designer to shape how developers and enterprises discover, adopt, and build with TypeSafe. You’ll own design workflows across our marketing website and developer console—from introduction to API calls and production adoption—combining strong visual craft with clear interaction design.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to ship UI changes in prod, develop a cohesive design system, and create scalable
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a UX designer.
- Portfolio showing strong visual and interaction design across web experiences and complex SaaS products.
- Experience designing developer tools, such as IDE plugins, observability systems, and data tools.
- Familiarity and passion for LLMs and AI tooling – you vibe code to prototype, leverage gen AI products, and try out new AI tools frequently.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise features in the developer console. Help teams adopt and operate TypeSafe at scale through workflows for workspaces, team administration, permissions, usage, and billing.
- Develop reusable components, patterns, and visual foundations across the website and console, with attention to accessibility and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to ship UI changes in prod and evolve the design system.
