Job summary

Middesk, a compliance-focused identity platform in San Francisco, is seeking a Product Designer to help businesses uphold strong compliance standards and manage risk with confidence. You will design intuitive experiences that empower customers to make informed decisions in regulated industries, partnering with Product and Engineering from discovery through delivery.

You will own end-to-end design, refining problems, turning dense data into clear visuals, and evolving Middesk's design system.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in-house product design for B2B products.
• A strong portfolio showing solutions to complex customer challenges.
• Collaborative with PMs to frame problems and scope work.
• Ability to surface and explain complex data in UX.
• Systems thinker linking UX and API-driven systems; familiarity with developer tooling.
• Experience with LLM-powered tooling for prototypes.
• Excellent communication and proactive mindset.
• Proficient in design tools and maintaining design systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Engineering to refine problems and deliver balanced designs.
• Own end-to-end design process from discovery to launch.
• Turn dense data into clear experiences that build trust.
• Use storytelling to explain complex business concepts to stakeholders.
• Shape Middesk's design system for consistency and accessibility.
