Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Designer to shape how millions experience AI, partnering with engineers and researchers to craft native AI UI patterns. You will prototype rapidly, iterate with ambiguity, and focus on pixels and copy while shipping quickly.

You’ll work on interactions that influence trust and usability, using Claude Code and other tools to extend what you can build. Hybrid role in a dynamic startup setting.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
• Experience designing and shipping complex workflows in enterprise/B2B SaaS or API products.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code as a design partner.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap, and ship.
• Understand product architecture and define primitives for new capabilities.
• Define feature areas with attention to detail and polish for broader flows.
• Craft beautiful, polished user interfaces that build trust and showcase AI capabilities.
• Prototyping and learning new ways to communicate ideas and concepts.
• Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced startup environment.
