Job summary

Reva in Boulder is seeking a seasoned Product Designer to own the reading and doing path end to end, crafting a calm, focused experience on mobile.

You will design the session view, dashboard, and the flow from describing a user state to moving through the interface, with motion and restraint at the core. This role emphasizes mobile‑first design and a calm visual system.

Qualifications

• Five or more years designing software.
• Portfolio with at least one calm, focused, single‑purpose screen you are proud of.
• You build your own prototypes, in code or close to it.
• You have a view about motion and restraint and can defend it.

• Design for the phone first, because that is where a session gets done.

Someone opens Reva tired, a little sore, and unsure. They need to feel calmer after, not busier. That is a genuinely hard design problem: a step list, a timer, a progress ring, cues, and a caution, on a phone, without turning it into a dashboard.

You would own the reading and doing path end to end, and the small motion that makes a session feel gentle rather than gamified.

What you would own

• Own the session view, the dashboard, and the flow from describing your state to moving.
• Design for the phone first, because that is where a session gets done.
• Keep the visual system calm: white space, one sage accent, one soft amber for caution, no decoration that does not help.
• Sit in on user calls. The person who watches someone recover with this should be the person who designs it.

What we are looking for

• Five or more years designing software people use to do something, not to browse.
• A portfolio with at least one calm, focused, single-purpose screen you are proud of.
• You build your own prototypes, in code or close to it.
• You have a view about motion and restraint and can defend it.

How hiring runs

A thirty-minute call with a founder, then a paid work session on a real problem from our backlog, two to three hours, then conversations with two people you would work directly with. Four steps, usually inside two weeks. We tell you where you stand after every one.
