Job summary

Andis Company is seeking a Product Design Engineering Intern/Co-op for Spring 2027 in Racine, WI. The role is full-time and primarily onsite with some remote work, starting January.

You will prepare detailed drawings, BOMs and ECOs under supervision, using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo, while applying math and engineering principles. The internship requires enrollment in an accredited program, a 3.0 GPA, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited technical school or university pursuing an associate/bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00/4.0.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo or Autodesk.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clear, complete and accurate detail drawings, testing, ECOs and Bills of Materials from sketches.
• Make 2D AutoCAD drawings and check dimensions and relations between parts.
• Draw finished 2D designs from sketches; use AutoCAD and Dynamics to manage part numbers, ECOs, and BOMs.
• Make small design changes to 3D models previously created in SolidWorks.
