Job summary

Andis Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern/Co-op for Spring 2027. The role is onsite in Racine, WI, with full-time hours starting January.

You will collaborate with engineers, toolmakers, and maintenance mechanics to develop practical manufacturing solutions and drive process improvements. Ideal candidates are engineering students at technical schools or universities, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited technical school or university studying towards an associate/bachelor's degree in engineering. Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, preferably Word and Excel. Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks is a plus.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Engineers, Designers, supervisors, and peers.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated, good interpersonal skills, well organized and able to work independently but knows when to ask for assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing, Product, Quality Engineering and Production Team in support of New Product Verification Builds.
• Perform time studies and update routers in ERP System.
• Work with production team to create and revise Manufacturing Work instructions.
• Support and/or lead investigations to determine options for change and improvement to manufacturing process.
• Process Manufacturing Change Requests.
