Qualifications

• Recently completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience using 3D CAD NX to design components and assemblies.
• Hands-on prototyping and testing of mechanical designs.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering and problem solving.
• Able to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts, components, and assemblies for new consumer devices using 3D CAD (NX).
• Create detailed 2D drawings, define specifications and tolerances, and work with overseas vendor partners.
• Design and run experiments, applying engineering analysis and test results to guide design decisions.
• Evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, and design tradeoffs for robust solutions.
• Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, industrial design, and other teams to move concepts from ideation to development.
• Conceptualize, design, and build prototypes to quickly validate ideas.
• Participate in design reviews, communicating decisions and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build, test, troubleshoot, and iterate prototypes to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and vendors to transition designs to production.
